…our humanitarian mission, we are in action in Lebanon. Our teams are working around the clock to facilitate evacuations and create safe shelters. We are also organizing a large aid shipment to support the suffering population. Our actions are characterized by honesty and helpfulness.
Primary medical care in Lebanon: life-saving help on site
Our aid organization URA works tirelessly in Lebanon to ensure primary medical care for people in need. In a country marked by political unrest and economic instability, health services are often overstretched and under-resourced. We bring qualified doctors and medical staff directly to affected areas to provide life-saving emergency assistance. Our teams specialize in treating acute injuries and illnesses exacerbated by precarious living conditions and lack of medical care. Thanks to mobile clinics and well-equipped health stations, we can respond quickly and flexibly to the needs of the population. Particular attention is also paid to the health care of children and pregnant women, who are particularly at risk in times of crisis.
Drinking water supply: Securing a basic need
In addition to medical care, access to clean drinking water is one of the biggest challenges in Lebanon. Many regions suffer from dilapidated infrastructure and water quality is often worryingly poor. We are therefore committed to ensuring a reliable drinking water supply. Our organization ensures that the local population is provided with safe and clean water. These measures are not only vital for people’s health, but also help stabilize the entire community. Educational campaigns on hygiene and responsible use of water complement these measures and ensure the sustainable impact of our projects. We work closely with local partners to anchor the projects in the long term and strengthen the resilience of the communities.
Through our combined efforts in primary medical care and drinking water supply, we are making a decisive contribution to improving living conditions in Lebanon. Our tireless work shows that help directly on the ground and in the affected communities is most effective.
