Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT security or a related field. Experience working with NGOs or in the nonprofit sector is a plus.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption techniques. Strong knowledge of network security, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical staff. High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
